Carnation: If I handed you a concert ticket right now, who would you want to be the performer?
Imagine Dragons. They are fantastic live. But you know that as well as I do!
Tulip: For your birthday, what kind of cake do you ask for?
Usually something that includes chocolate, vanilla/cream and cherries. Like Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte or Donauwelle. Wow, that is really german of me.
Hibiscus: Did you ever play an instrument? If so, what?
I played the piano for thirteen years (don’t be impressed, I’m no good) and am currently teaching myself a bit of camp fire guitar. Would love me some lessons in singing though.
Locust: What was your favorite book as a child?
You see, I was sort of book promiscuous when I was younger, so you’d have to be more specific as to which time frame we’re talking about here. The Red Wall saga made the list for a long time, Gebrüder Löwenherz and Ronja Räubertochter, Igraine Ohnefurcht, and much to my mortification, Bille und Zottel. Don’t judge me, I had a horse phase.
Azalea: What is a movie you cried while watching?
Dude if I feel vulnerable enough I cry while watching anything. I am not joking about this, I once cried watching The Wizards of Waverly Place.
But there are two movies where I started crying at the beginning and literally didn’t stop until after it was over and those were The Lovely Bones and Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close.
Allium: What’s the best thing you can cook?
The missus says I don’t have a signature dish, that the best thing is when I just spontaneously whip up something I’m in the mood for.
I’d say that I’m most comfortable doing salmon in wine sauce.
Daffodil: What’s the most thoughtful present you’ve ever received?
Hmm. I’ve received wonderful presents and I have a lot of sappy answers for this. I really don’t want to put one above the other, and some are private enough for me not to want to share them.
However I’m aware that is lame-ass answer, so I think I’ll name a picture my niece and nephew drew for me when they were little. There is a tree and a bird and the sun and it means
